HEART IN A HEADLOCK
This is where westayed. A house with a SPA in it. How lucky! Every day was hiking and adventure time so we were always looking forward to get back to this cozy place and rest. 🙂
and the trekking begins!
a little waterfall! it’s called Cabacan Falls
We saw a little hut along the way. Luckily our tour guide knows the owner. We were able to rest for a while and pick fresh Cacao fruits!
little fish ponds along the way. 🙂
the bits of views we got to savor along the way to another waterfall!
Yes, i only wore my havaianas during the trek! Sturdy slippah!
Aaaah… Anuplig Falls! The water even tastes better and more refreshing than the ones purified in the city!
Sherwin, our guide skips on huge wet rocks like it’s nothing. O.o
Can you spot the litol butterfly?
Scary! This is how they make hanging bridges.
A lady washing Bugnay wine bottles with fresh-fresh mountain water!
fresh greens anyone?
I regret not being able to take a pretty photo of these waterfalls. The one on top is called Pablo Falls and the lower one is Maligligay Falls. I was tooooooo tired. It rained during the trek, it was super foggy and I was close to giving up. My legs were shaking…
I had to remove my slippers and walk barefoot because it was too slippery and there were parts where the soil was crumbly. One wrong move and I’m dead!
Here’s why I almost gave up. We were literally walking on the edge of a mountain on a rainy day and there were only vines or roots to hold on to. I just had to suck it all in and keep on moving. 😦
The place where they make and sell Bugnay Wines
Trivia: CROWN PRINTERS printed all of their wine bottles’ sticker labels!

I can’t wait to go back! Our hearts will forever beat for Adams, Ilocos Norte!
