YOU’RE LIKE A PARTY SOMEBODY THREW ME
I have no idea how am I going to start this. Well, I just turned 25 last May 31st so “Yay me!” A couple of months ago, I finally thought of “celebrating” my birthday and told my awesomely-awesome friend Ace about it. Everytime my birthday is near, I kind of disappear from my friends really and just stay home after having dinner outside with Eric and my family. Sometimes I really don’t want to go out.
I realized i’d be selfish if i wont share my 25th year on this planet with the people that make me who I am right now. Stout and HAPPY! 🙂 Seriously Happy! I owe this party to Ace who despite his super busy career and life, managed to “coordinate” with Eric who wasn’t really so good in keeping it a secret. It turned out as a semi-surprise party because he’d ask me stuff I shouldn’t have any idea about, stuff that should’ve surprised me like the mobile bar I wanted to have ever since I experienced it on a wedding shoot I kind of forgot about. By the way, Lex Mobile Bar must be on the top of your list when party planning. Like I said, “It ain’t a party without Lex Mobile Bar in your party!” Also, the venue was supposed to be a secret too but the night we were about to go out, Lex Mobile Bar tagged me on facebook on their whereabouts: RSB Riverview Pavillion. Thanks to the Bismonte sisters Rhea and Shine for the place. It was a bit far from downtown but it was just the right place to be with friends and family!
I don’t want to think of my 25th Birthday as just another day that has to pass. It was awe—–some. I had my “everything” in one place and it was too good for me. Up to now, most of us still couldn’t get over that night. We still text and talk about it in facebook! I had a cake too, which I didn’t expect, really. It had a number “1” candle lit on it. I don’t care if it’s the only candle they had but it reminded me of how lucky and thankful I am to be alive, kicking, living the life and loving it. May 31st was the day I started earning age and it all starts with 1. The day you were born, your first month on earth, first year… and so many “firsts” in life.
Anyway, it took me quite a while to sort out photos to post online because I know my friends are going to hate me if I publicly put them to shame. I can or might be the trigger to their social suicide because almost everyone were wasted, drunk, and dancing, but since I’m the nicest friend they have, already have, should have, and will have… I’ve chosen only their pretty pictures where they all look composed, prim & proper, (sort of) and happy. FYI, I didn’t take all of the photos, you guys! My dear friend GT did and so did the rest of the other people who had a hold of my camera so Thank You for the “blackmail photos” of everyone! Haha! For my other friends who were invited but weren’t able to come, well… you should’ve came! But before the pictures, watch this video Eric and I compiled.
