I’ll give you more to own than all of this

Pastors’ kids DJ and JD poured their heart out for this session. It took us a month to get our schedules on the line for this just before our church’s Silver Anniversary last April of this year.
Captioning these photos from Future of Forestry’s song which is also my latest LSS and favorite just defines the most wonderful and most undying love that ever existed.
John 3:16
The main idea came up during a short taco & quesadillas meeting with DJ a month before the shoot & the anniversary. It’s all about how the church came to be. The Living Gates of Praise started from small, invisible beginnings to having oh so much! DJ explained to me the efforts of the whole church, together with her family the journey they’ve gone through to get to where the state of the church is right now. You might think it is overrated and such a cliche to pursue a life that is Christ-like in order to prosper in life and that worship & thanksgiving is not a big issue. The living testimonies of this church live by these cliches and are fruitfully enjoying every harvest they receive, and receive, and receive.
Enjoy the photos!
It was a wonderful time working with the whole team:

Slow Your Breath Down
~Future of Forestry
This chest is full of memories of gold and silver tears
I’ll give you more to own than all of this
I’ll give you more than years

For you were once a child of innocence
and I see you just the same
Your burdens couldn’t win or loose a thing
Oh, i’d tell you once again
Slow you breath down, just take it slow
Find your heart now
You can trust in love again.
Slow you breath down just take it slow
Find your smile now
You can trust in love again.
When you leave i’ll still be close to you
When all your fears rain down
I’d take you back a thousand times again
I’d take you as my own
I will sing you songs of innocence
’til the light of the morning comes
’til the ray of golden honey cover you
In the sweetness of the dawn
