Delightful Baked Treats from Rio’s Oven
Owner & mom of two, Karen Janice started baking lactation cookies and brownies a couple of months after she has given birth to her second child Rio in 2016. She frequents buying lactation treats in Manila when she was breastfeeding her first little one, Mia in 2014 which gave her the idea to make her own lactation cookies. Thus, started her own brand named after Rio. She thought of selling them here in Ilocos Norte and a lot of her loyal customers where surprised why she has not been into selling her baked goodness in the first place. From lactation goodies, some were asking for non-lactation versions of Rio’s Oven that’s when she started baking some variants without the galactagogues.
Now, if you have no idea yet what to give for Christmas, you can easily spread the sweet vibes with Rio’s Oven cookies and other baked goodies. Not only are they home-made but they are baked with love using really quality ingredients to satisfy your cookie cravings. They’re so good! Believe me. They’re not too sweet, crumbly but moist on the inside, and with just the right goodness upon every bite. My favorite are their Oatmeal Choco Chip which easily got gobbled on by all of us in the house after taking photos.
Since Rio’s Oven does not have a physical store, they only accept orders online and it is actually easy to contact them. If Karen bakes, she usually makes some extra and post them on their facebook page to sell as they’re freshly baked. Mind you, they get sold easily!
